what the forge demands

FORGE | 12 combines physical stress, fatigue, team dependence, and controlled discomfort into one long day built to expose weakness, test discipline, and force men to rely on each other.

Expect:

  • Physical training evolutions built to test grit and output.
  • Team missions that require the squad to work together.
  • Ruck marches and cold exposure.
  • Fire Stops that teach practical resilience under stress.
  • Cohesion Circles that build trust with your future Tribesmen.
  • Tribal Council, where Call Signs are earned.
  • A final evolution and graduation that must be finished, not assumed.

This is not a day for men who prefer talking over proving.

This is a day for men ready to step forward and earn it.

FORGE | 12 ITINERARY

Here’s the flow of the day from entry to graduation.
Check-in opens 90 minutes before start. The PST begins at start time—no late entry once it begins.

Phase 1 — Check-In

Arrive, medical/safety check, expectations brief. Gear organized. Squads formed.

Phase 2 — PST

The Physical Screening Test starts at the official start time. You must pass to continue.

Phase 3 — Evolutions

Training circuits and strength/endurance work under fatigue—carries, bodyweight output, coached intensity.

Phase 4 — Ruck + Cold

Ruck movement plus controlled cold exposure—composure, discipline, staying functional when you’re uncomfortable.

Phase 5 — Fire Stops + Cohesion Circles + Tribal Council

You’ll hit Fire Stops—short resets where we teach one mental tool and you practice it right away.

Cohesion Circles—guided conversations that build trust with the men you’re suffering beside.

Tribal Council—where your squad recognizes you and assigns your Call Sign.

Phase 6 — Final Trial

The last evolution is a long, grinding team event: moving under load, heavy carries, and team events you can’t brute-force when you’re already smoked.

Communication matters, and the squad either finishes together—or doesn’t.

This is where the Uncommon are tested—and proven.

Phase 7 — Graduation + Dinner

Those who meet the standard earn Tribesman Qualification and receive their recognition with the squad.

Awards are given (Honor Tribesman + Most Improved), class photo, and close-out.

Then you sit down together for a graduation dinner—your first meal as a Tribe.

Your day starts with the Physical Screening Test. Strict form. No half reps.

  • Sit-ups (2 min): 50
  • Pull-ups (dead-hang): 8 strict (no kipping; controlled reps)
  • Air Squats (2 min): 60 (hip crease below knee; full extension)
  • 1.5-Mile Run in Boots: 15:00 or less
  • 3-Mile Ruck (35 lbs): 50:00 or less
  • Front Plank: 2:00 (straight back; unbroken)
  • Sandbag Carry (50 lbs): 30 yards (no dropping)

Recognition is earned

At the end of the FORGE, not every man leaves with the same recognition.

Honor Tribesman

Awarded to the man who best embodied the standard through leadership, discipline, and service to others.

Most Improved

Awarded to the man who showed the greatest growth through the pressure of FORGE.

These are not participation awards.
