TRIBAL PROVING GROUND (General) FAQs

What is FORGE | 12?

A 12-hour bootcamp for everyday men built around pressure, standards, and earned brotherhood. You’ll be tested through the PST, physical evolutions, rucking, cold exposure, team missions, Tribal Council, and Graduation.

Where is FORGE | 12 held?

On a private ranch in Central Texas. Final location details are provided after registration and screening.

What makes TPG different?

Most programs give you a challenge. TPG gives you a tribe. Men do not just show up, suffer, and leave. They are tested under pressure, earn a call-sign, and step into the Tribal Network after graduation.

What’s the Entry Standard (PST)?

The day starts with a strict Physical Screening Test (PST). You must pass to continue. There are no retests, no scaling, and no late entry once the PST begins.

Do I need military experience?

No. Prior military experience is not required. TPG is not built for the military—it is built for everyday men who are ready to be challenged, held accountable, and forged alongside other men.

What’s included in the FORGE | 12 package?

Your package includes the 45-day FORGE prep plan, FORGE uniform, hydration, meals, on-site medical support, and earned recognition if you meet the standard.

Is it safe? What medical support is on site?

TPG is designed to be demanding, but not reckless. The event runs under clear standards, safety screening, and on-site medical support. Medical clearance may be required when needed.

Can women join?

Yes. While our mission focuses on men’s isolation and resilience, anyone who meets the standards and seeks growth through shared struggle is welcome.

Can minors (17) join with parental consent?

No. For safety and legal reasons, participants must be 18 or older — even with parental permission. Start training now so that when you turn 18, you’re ready to conquer the Proving Ground and become the brother others can rely on.

What if I can’t pass the PST?

If you do not pass the PST, you do not continue into the FORGE. If you arrive after the PST begins, you cannot join that day. There is no refund for late arrival or PST failure; a 15% re-entry coupon is issued for late or failed participants and is valid for 18 months.

What is the Tribal Network, and who gets access?

The Tribal Network is the exclusive community for men who complete the FORGE. It keeps the standard alive through accountability, training, small squads, and continued brotherhood after the event. Access is reserved for FORGE graduates.

What’s the refund / transfer policy?

Cancel 14+ days before the event for a 100% credit toward a future date. Cancel 2–13 days before for a 50% credit. Day-of, after start time, or no-show: no refund, no credit, no transfer. One reschedule is allowed per purchase and credits expire after 12 months.

Are there showers or bathrooms?

Bathrooms are available on site. Showers are not.

Can family or spectators attend any part of the event?

No. The FORGE is an immersive experience for participants only. Family and friends are welcome to join at the graduation ceremony to celebrate your transformation.

What are the exact PST movements, reps, and times?

To earn your place in the FORGE, you must pass all components of the PST:

  • Push-Ups: 50 reps in 2 minutes
  • Sit-Ups: 50 reps in 2 minutes
  • Pull-Ups: 8 (dead hang, full extension)
  • Air Squats: 60 reps
  • 1.5-Mile Run (in boots): 15 minutes or less
  • 3-Mile Ruck (35 lb pack): 50 minutes or less
  • Sandbag Carry (50 lb): 30 yards
  • Plank Hold: 2 minutes
If I fail one element, do I get a retest window?

No. The PST is for your safety and to ensure all participants are held to the same standards. You must meet all standards to begin the FORGE.

Are there medical exceptions or alternate standards?

No. For safety and fairness, the standards apply equally to all.

Do events run rain or shine? What about lightning or severe weather?

Yes — the FORGE runs rain or shine. You’ll train through discomfort, not danger. In cases of lightning, high winds, or severe weather, training pauses and safety protocols activate immediately. Once conditions clear, the FORGE resumes where it left off.
